not much to report
Thursday, December 28th, 2006A few of my relatives came around for dinner on Chrimbo day. My uncle was hell-bent on playing PS2 games with my brother, and as he was thwarted last year due to our lack of tv inputs, he decided to bring his own tv and cables. Alas, the gods were not smiling on him again as his dodgy chipped games would only show in black and white!
I’m not a fan of Xmas dinner. Turkey is too dry when it’s just roasted, I prefer it after my mum fries it with onion, tomato and peppers, etc. on boxing day.
I didn’t get many presents. I never do nowadays, but I’m an independent gal so I’m not bothered. (I do have an Amazon wishlist, should anyone wish to give me something, lol). I got my mum a new Samsung E370 mobile phone (in pink), my dad got a nice pair of Clarks shoes and my bruv got a Kathy Reichs book.
On Boxing Day I took my mum to the cinema to see Casino Royale. I really enjoyed it 8/10. Daniel Craig was superb, and I’m looking forward to seeing his next Bond movie. He was sexy, raw, cheeky and animalistic. Even though the plot slowed down a bit in the last hour, I didn’t care cos he was so fascinating to watch. The naked torture scene was a gift to women everywhere. Come on folks, I need the DVD now! Here’s a nude clip from Tomb Raider to keep us all going until then.
I’ve not done much since then. My average wake-up time is noon, but I think I need to start doing something so I can have something to show for my time off.

Having something to show for time off is so over-rated! Enjoy having the time off then you will appear even more effecient when you get loads of stuff done during work weeks when you are so busy etc.
Personally I started off with a long list and now I can’t remember one thing on the list and I am (very unlike me) doing nothing much at all.

I guess I shouldn’t beat myself up too much - I’ve had a rough year…
