Lunar Eclipse

The solar eclipse in 1999 freaked me out a little bit for some reason, so I watched it on my telly and didn’t go out to see it (thru those special glasses).

When I heard about tonight’s lunar eclipse I felt unsettled but decided to check it out and take pics of it too.

In ancient times a “blood moon” was seen as an omen of disaster or great change.

Reminds me of that old Chinese curse: may you live in interesting times…”
