Is this the perfect reality-tv show? Appearing to be some kind of mashup of Joe Millionaire and The Farm, Dirty Cows features 10 city girls (they forgot me) competing in the countryside for the affections of Britain’s most eligible young farmer, Alexy Van Kimmenade. It’s going to get mucky!
Every time I see the advert I start to chuckle. I wish I could youtube it but I don’t have the equipment. Trust me, it’s funny.
The show is presented by former IT Girl, Tara Palmer Tomkinson, and it starts tomorrow evening on LivingTV.

Hi Nicholas: Living TV is a channel on cable/satellite tv. It shows a lot of American tv shows plus some reality tv. I watch it quite often.
And he’s a rich farmer. He probably just owns the land, and has staff who get their hands dirty.

Alexy is HOT! The funniest is when he found out one of the girls is a page 3 girl and she showed up on the date with a see through dress! Obviously she’s a slapper and he told her he couldn’t see himself with a topless model…yet, the silly cow still thought he was into her –
I think they should have screened the girls for class and brain cells before accepting them. There are loads of “City girls” who are educated and much more polished, in a city way, than these cheesy types. He isn’t going to find his future cow wife from this lot.
Also there is obvious chemistry with TPT…I think he’s gonna run off with the hostess and older woman!

You are so right. I cracked up when the glamour model asked him where he likes to have sex! She was too self-absorbed to realise that he was being polite, but really had a bad taste in his mouth from her dress and slutty antics.
They really did choose the worst kind of girls for the show; Alexy won’t find his future wife, but it will be great TV.
And I could just see him running off with Tara, it would be just like the Ulrika/Mr Right scenario all over again!

hey come on…..i know quite a few of theses girls and believe me they are not dumb and have a host of educational qualifications and degree’s. Its a tv show so its edited to make good viewing and its obviously worked cause u lot are already commenting. Good viewing would not be picking out of a bunch of perfectly groomed girls straight off the plane from a swiss finishing school…clacking hockey sticks and shouting hoora anyone for a cup of tea. These are hard working good hearted girls who were up for a bit of fun. I agree the date girl came across as bad taste and poor judgement on her part but it would be interesting to see the whole unedited version.

I’m sure all of the girls on the show are lovely people in an unusual situation. Just as in Big Brother, editing does take place that might give a certain slant on things, but I don’t think that anyone is taking the show too seriously at this point.

I just wonder how much Alexy Van Kimmenade is getting paid for this. His not exactly been hit with the ugly stick
so his obviously just doing it for publicity. I like the show though. Especially when one of the girls cried when she had to sheer a sheep 
To be honest I only watch Dirty cows to laugh at stupid tarts, and oggle at Alexy Van Kimmenade.

Ashley, you are probably right!! I’m sure Alexy is getting paid as their estate might be in dire needs of some funds.
I don’t know how formally educated the girls are but I do agree with Crissie et al that there has probably been some serious editing and manipulation for good tv viewing. Still,
Alexy is from a different class than most of those girls, and I wonder if they have finished their GEDs or attended a decent university. I didn’t say they weren’t nice or good people, but I don’t see a lot of compatibilty with Alexy and the girls.
They are probably better suited for a chav or football player — who wears stilettos and see through dresses in the country on a farm?
Some of them can hardly speak English properly (ie noun/verb agreement).
Anyway, what can I say, it makes me laugh hysterically…too bad I missed the show last week…who left?

BUT…I met one of these lovely ladies off the show in Greece on holiday last week(not saying which one), what an amazing young woman though, full of life and energy! Oooo i’m intruged as to which one you met on your holidays but your description of her as an amazing young woman has me guessing its either Hannah, Danielle, Claire,Chantelle or Tamzin as you would have run a mile the other way had it been any of the others. If it was Keeley you can see more of her in Front Magazine (classy!!) and if it was Larissa you are a very brave man indeed ha ha. I think danielle will win. First i thought it was claire because he(alexy) would keep nomitating her for everything like dates and stuff but she’s a bit slimy and does not bring out her real side. Theres another competitive one but she acts too sexy and that may put the mom in law to be off but shes quite a genuine person. Daniell is wholesome and sweet too. I can see her settling on the farm quite nicely

I hope he WONT pick Danielle to because she is really to nice for him and he doesn’t deserve her. I disagree with Taniya as my friends Daughter went to Uni in Cardiff and knows Claire. She said she is very quiet but a really nice girl so I think how she is on TV is how she is but remember its very edited to so they can make you look how they want you to look and that goes for all the girls and Alexy. Although I cant stand Larissa as she is just too much she is very funny - desperate - but funny. Again editing has me not liking Keeley the most as she stirs up the anamosity between Larissa and claire to take the focus off her own slimy sly moves on Alexy (or Letchy as we now call him in our house after his antics with Larissa in the hot tub). To be honest after watching him in the Hot Tub on wednesday I hope he picks Larissa or Keeley and leaves the lovely Danielle, Claire and Hannah to find real men.

You’re all so sad commenting on girls you don’t know! Larissa is nothing like she is on the show, it’s all playing up so she could win the money. You’re all there slating her and stuff, she’s one of the kindest, caring most intelligent girls you could ever wish to meet. Yes I have known her for a long time and yes she is now my gf but we weren’t together when she was on the show and she nor am I ashamed of what she did on it. Mr Goodbar……firstly I agree with you that Larissa is acting up to the camera but not for the prize money coz there wasn’t any in the first place. I’m sure she is kind and caring in everyday life but you cant stop people having an opinion on her based on her performance on the show. Admittedly I expect she was encouraged to behave that way as it makes for more interesting tv and of course it will have been edited to make her look worse but fact is she enjoys the attention and seems to enjoy getting her kit off (cybergirl, Breast of Britain etc etc etc) and good luck to her. If thats what she wants and enjoys who is anybody to say she should’nt…..but it doesn’t mean we have to like it or agree with it. Keeley hasn’t done Larissa any favours on the show by sh-t stirring about the other girls - especially Claire - to wind Larissa up and expose her green side, especially as Keeley is the sly one who fancies Letchy the most..that girl is gross.

I normally hate this type of show but being a bit of a mixed townie/country girl I had a peek! What a load of “bull”, I’m compelled to watch every week!!! Alexy is gross and I agree about his life style - the farmers I know all work hard day and night. None of the girls are suitable but then that was not the point.

hey guys…. glad you liked my dancing haha you gotta show off and besides i wanted to make sure i was in the final. yea i always said what i thought and felt like i told the truth all the way through the show. and as everyone knows the editing people are such w*nkers….. they never showed half the funny stuff or the side of me that everyone there saw….. like when i did taz’s hair and make up for her date and all the others girls hair eye brows ect ( my years of hair and beauty finaly paid off)
did i fancy alexy? i did untill danielle left , then we started to see sides of him that were just not nice.
my thoughts and feelings on the final 4
danielle was the nicest sweetist girl ive ever met in my life, she was classy and never said a bad word about anyone. im glad she didnt get through, due to the fact she was far too good for alexy and deserves so much better.
keeley was so funny and down to earth, although she has appeared to come across a little two faced, this is far from who she really is. she’s sweet, kind sharing and down to earth and was one of the people who i really got along with and when i was upset she was there to listen.
claire was so funny, she knew how to play the game, she was in it for her carrer and had no intention on ever staying on the farm, fair play, claire and i are friends and still have regular laughs about the show.
as for me, i went in with an open mind, obviously being a glmaour model im finding it hard to find looovee and when i saw this oppurtunity i though why not, the fact that most of it was fixed and most people were there for the wrong reasons ( including alexy which we found out in the 3rd episode he just wanted to get into t.v presenting) infact he wasnt even meant to be the farmer on the show, the orginal farmer dropped out last minute before filming and alexy was there last resort. so i went to find love and didnt. but i made 9 plus more friends from teh crew who were amazing to work with and gained some knowlage about farming and animals… though to be honest im never hopping i have to put them into pratice again lol

I watched the show a few times, Larissa you seem okay but also came across as a tart…but as you say u were playing up for the cameras, ok makes the Tv show more entertaining but still 80% of people wont like you as you seem to just want to be centre of attention 24/7. Not attractive!!
Keeley seemed lovely, really liked her. Mmm wonder if anything is actualy going on between Tara and mr farmer-pretty boy…. quite funny tho is they become an iteam!

Sammy Jenkins, KylieLaws and Tom l: please try to avoid insulting Larissa or any of the other girls on the show. There are ways of sharing your opinion without being nasty.
Larissa: I know I haven’t said much on here for the past few days, but I must tell you that I was so chuffed when I saw you leaving comments on my little blog. I probably wouldn’t have acted as you did on the show, but I probably wouldn’t have made it to the finals of the show either. (Actually, I definitely wouldn’t have lasted long on the show.)
I don’t blame you for grabbing as much attention as you can in order to put yourself in the limelight. I can honestly say that you’ve made the biggest impression on the viewers of all the girls, and as Alexy really isn’t the greatest catch in terms of personality I would say you’ve done very well out of the whole thing.
Btw, I think that Crissie’s suggestion of a Brit version of the Simple Life would be perfect for you, perhaps with Chantelle from CelebBB…

This is getting ridiculous, it meant to be a place where you can comment and share opinions on the show and the girls but some of the latest comments regarding Larissa are really not called for. I think if i’m right Larissa hunny you have a condition called Dyslexia hence the spelling, its a condition thousands of people suffer from and who sadly are often wrongly labelled as stupid - by stupid and ignorant people! She can call herself whatever name she like’s its none of anyone’s business and lots of girls in the industry do, and so to Cara it would be interesting to know if ‘Cara’ is your real name…..hmmm or are you just hiding behind that name so that you can launch such a nasty personal attack on Larissa without anyone knowing who you really are?

Hi everyone!
Just thought id leave a quick message! I have to say that the above comments have provided some very interesting reading! Having personally met Larissa I feel the need to comment..!! I met her at Miss Hawaiian Tropic Great Britain earlier this year and she was fabulous! Larissa was really fun, really friendly and above all totally selfless. She helped me with my hair, make up and confidence. The girls had the most amazing bodies and I was feeling a little insecure but Larissa cheered me up and made me feel so much better about myself. I would actually like to say a quick thank you to Larissa because from meeting her, I can honestly say that I have never felt better about myself. Ive gained a confidence that I never thought id have and have started to make my dreams a reality.

Larissa - you are exactly the kind of person I’d love to hang out with. You seem like a great example to people in that you are really strongwilled and dont care about what others think of you. You stand up for what you believe in and while watching you on Dirty Cows I really admired that about you. You are gorgeous, unique and you seem like a lot of fun. I loved watching you on the show, you were very entertaining
I cant understand why anyone would say anything bad or personal about you unless they actually know you, especially as everyone knows so much of the show was edited to make interesting viewing.. although people will always try to bring you down no matter what you do.. and like you said yourself, you only acted a certain way for entertainment value. Otherwise, you were probably one of the few girls who was just being themself.

Hi Larissa, am glad that you didn’t end up with him ‘cos to be honest he seems like the kind of guy who doesn’t care too much about anyone’s feelings. Hope Keeley didn’t get too attatched to him as she seemed nice, but I doubt it as she seemed to have her head screwed on.
I enjoyed the show, but felt a little dissapinted by the TPT thing, we knew that whomever he’d pick wouldn’t stand much of a chance with TPT there.
You’ll find someone Larissa, just don’t be in too much of a rudh, else it could be the wrong one. xx

Alexy and Tara are’nt an item, maybe they did have a bit of a roll in the hay who knows but what i’ve been told is that Keeley and Alexy were over as soon as the cameras stopped rolling - surprise surprise.It was Claire he really liked and didn’t pick her as he didn’t want any pressure on a possible romance but despite trying his best to get with her after the show but she rejected him.Slap in the face for him as he -apparantley- isnt used to rejection ahhhh.He is now with Tamzin - the girl he evicted in the fourth episode-and they are supposedly getting married next year…Hooray and good luck to them.So all well that ends well down on the farm.

I thought the series was fantastic and so addictive - tuther half shut himself in dining room while it was on so loads a peace to watch it! Larissa, I think u were fab - it’s just a shame the prog was edited to always show the bad side of everyone. Ignore all the negative comments from people, as long as u r happy! Alexy was a hotty but makes u wonder wot his real motives were - a farm in trouble, a TV career round the corner…..who knows?

Wow - what a complete sham! so Alexy is with Tamzin after all that? and just done the progrmme to get into presenting… what a tossbag!
I thought he was a bit slimy, and even though well spoken and good looking (with his clothes on) there was something not quite right about him. What was the point of picking Keeley when they didnt even date? the mans a bit of a knob end if you ask me, and TPT was quite patronising to the girls at times which wasnt good. The programme was quite like the batchelor, except funnier. I loved the barn dance, and really warmed to larissa in the end. Did any of the girls sleep with Alexy? How did he end up with Tamzin then after rejecting her? I cant believe him touching up two girls in the hottub.. did he think he was Hugh Heffner or something? twat!!
I did love the programme though and think if its made again have another presenter on it - not TPT as she just didnt suit the role.

Crikey i just read it!!!!! There must be an awful lot of red faced guys out there. My son said when watching the show that she looked like a man…we laughed at him. All the glamour work and topless stuff she/he did for the lads mags must make a lot of guys who fancied her feel a little uncomfortable. One thing Letchy must feel like a right t…t after getting hot and steamy with her in the hot tub and the full on snog n lap dance…..gosh could he sue! Dont think we will see any more of Larissa now as I wouldn’t think the market she works in will touch her with a barge pole. What ever happens though it must have taken alot of courage,counselling and heart ache to go ahead with such an irreversible life changing decision like he/she did so best of luck to you Larissa for the future.

Don’t get me wrong, i am the most open minded person around, and i have a really good friend who started changing while at school. Extremely convincing, petite, very pretty and is now married to a nice guy.
The thing i have an isue with is what i call “Queeny” post ops who basically by the way they act (eg. larissa) giving a bad rep to both ‘born’ women and ‘reborn’ women.
Larissa behaves and acts like a gay male queen not a female. If she thinks that you girls act like that i would feel insulted if i were you.
And Chrissiecrissie, your son is very observant, i thought the same thing about her when i saw her on dirty cows. Not trying to be nasty to unconvincing transexuals like larissa as looks shouldn’t count, its what inside that matters, but that having been said, and after seeing her video on her own site, these guys who have been caught out must be either a bit near sighted, drunk, or they actually knew she was ex male and liked the idea.

definitly born a boy gez, his/her birth certificate is genuine. If you look at her video on her own site, you will be under no doubt at all. my 3 female flatmates said straight away that it looked like a guy and that was before they read the News of the world.
As i said though, looks arent important, what gets me is the way she beds these guys and spills the whole thing out in public. I kind of feel sorry for her, by acting like this shows she has major unhappiness issues. (forgive my rambling on, its just that i am doing a sociology degree :-)) One of my lecturers at Uni is also a gender councellor for the local hospital and says that if this particular transexual came to him for an Op recommendation that he would refuse it, he reckons that larissa is a classic example of what he calls ‘female fixation’
He says there are 2 types of pre-ops, one that is genuinely born in the wrong body and can only be happy with the op but just wants to be accepted and blend in as female and lives a normal female role after the op.
The other type who he regularly turns down are the ’sexually fixated’ ones who basically have a fixation on having the op to be 100% sexually active as a female to crave attention purely because as a male they felt insignificant and unwanted by parents, friends etc. A desire to be the centre of attention, so the classic big busted female sex figure is the perfect attention beacon.
He says Larissa , sarah, or whatever name she goes under from day to day is not a true transexual and that the doctors who recommended her for the op should be struck off. In short larissa is letting down all the true transexuals who face tough life changing challenges. She should basically start acting like a true woman and not some sort of sexually frustrated freak show.

… this is a very dodgy situation the facts
1) larissa has been moddeling for 4 years has been booked and worked with thousands of models and photograpghers including going naked for playboy …… FOUR YEARS hmmmm you would of though someone would of noticed her from her “so called past” in that ammount of time, the ammount of times she has been on tv ( dirty cows, mtv perfect body, miami ink, weakist link, glamour model documentry channel 4, jamilea’s music vid, big brothers lil brother ) thats someone would of done a story by now also she went to america for 2 months to mode and keeps going over here and there and other different countries and been in magazines always in the daily sport and websites and at car shows
2) apprently she used to do stripping at some point in bristol to and in london when she first moved down to cover bills, at string fellows
3) she doesnt look like a man at all, neither does she sound like one talk walk act like one i know many girls who i could point the finger at and say they are transexual and larissa would probably be the last !
4) she has been with many more ” celebs ” than has been mentioned ( yes ive done my research)
and why hasnt she said her side of the story ?
is it publicity for her new tv show ( vanity lair channel 4) is this all a hoax?

all i can say michelle (or larissa?) is the Birth certificate is real, anyone with a basic computer knowledge can trace birth details, even her mum has admitted it to the papers themselves. think about it - if it were a lie by the news of the world, she could have sued them for more money than she will make in her lifetime !! i think not

Michelle, I can see where you are coming from with certain points as having looked at Larissa myspace pictures some of the photos are very convincing and certainly dont reflect any masculinity, however that is only some and to say they are not airbrushed is rubbish, you can see buy the uniformed clarity and tone of the skin colour and the professional sharpness that they are very much indeed ‘worked on photos’ as compared to her ‘nights out with the girls type pics’ she is a totally different shape and colour. Also Larissa seems to bombard her site and others she’s on with a huge mix of professional shots and general everyday shots of nights out, holidays group shots with friends so her myspace page is a mix of both professional and social aspects of her life like most of the other wannabe models have, but unlike the other models there doesn’t seem to be any of her when she was younger or with family ..its like she was born 4 years ago!
Paul’s point about suing the NOTW is a valid one….if someone had printed such an article about me and it wasn’t true I would be straight on the phone to my legal advisor.
On the show Dirty Cows Larissa was like Marmite - you either loved her or hated her- I was the latter to start off with but then slowly she grew on me so I wish her all the best with what ever she chooses to do and I hope she manages to sort this potentially career damaging saga out. But as I have stated before sleeping with famous faces then running to the papers to sell the story is a low as anyone can go in my eyes….remember when you trample all over people in order to create a ladder to the top if you fall know one will be there to catch you (selling two stories in two consecutive weeks but under different names was disgraceful) my grandmother alway said ‘loose lips sink ships’ - so no more Larissa eh other wise you may find all the lifeboats are full.

Michelle - I never said baby pictures just some goofy pics of her when she was younger or with family that loads of other models have on their profile sites..natalie pike, danielle lloyd, Tanya robinson and Kayleigh Pearson to name a few.. all have photos on their profiles of when they were younger..they have two profiles one totaly professional for the work and fans and one a mix of both, larissa has only one profile with photos of her that are after her surgery (she mentioned before she had a nose job, ears done, hair and boobs done etc etc etc.) you bark on about Playboy????? she is a ‘Playboy Cyber Girl’ …nothing wrong with that but its not ‘Playboy’ like we all know it - playboy mansion and Pamela Anderson status. Danielle Lloyd did a fantastic shoot for playboy, tasteful and beautiful thats being a Playboy model. you are a little delusional if you think Cyber girl is the same…..its just a rung on a very long ladder. My friends daughter was cybergirl June or July (I think) and while she enjoyed the day she said its a very long way from getting your self a full cover in the mag.
